Sometimes that fantastic sunrise just does not show and the grand scenic is not there. When that happens I switch to plan B.
No matter how mundane the area is there is always something interesting going on in the closeup world of nature. If I look hard enough I can find something that piques my curiosity.
Whether it's a miniature scenic that epitomizes what is happening in the landscape as a whole, or some small drama, or just some detail of the world that is normally passed over, there is always something to see.
When I notice the fantastic details of nature up close I realize that the major limitation to what I see is whether I take the time to look.
