Serendipity
Very early in the morning I headed back to the flooding that I ended the 1st at. In a field along the water I found a pair of sand hill cranes. It's the first time that I've ever photographed these extremely tall, lanky birds.
I'm working with a new lens this morning which is always excitting.
After working with the cranes I explored and finally found my first sign of beavers this spring, a freshly gnawed tree.
