Backup
None of the local camera shops would work on my Fuji S2 camera body, they all wanted to ship it out to Fuji. They were estimating 6 weeks turn around time before I got the camera back.
I just did not want to wait that long before being able to do any more photographic work, so I purchased a backup camera and had it delivered overnight. I've been without a camera for very long periods of time, which was not good. Now I've got a backup and I feel much better, if anything happens again I'll have another camera to fall back on.
